- Herb Kohl, famous author and educator, has generously offered advice on the development of our free people's university!
- UofO President Bob Fullilove and UofO Professor Mindy Fullilove are part of a team selected to advise France on the future of Paris! French President Nicholas Sarkozy announced June 5th the selection of 10 teams selected by advise the nation on the future of Paris. The Fulliloves are part of a team headed by architect Jean Nouvel and urbanist Michel Cantal-Dupart. The Fulliloves hope that their team will come to Orange next! What do you think, Mr. Mayor?

- UofO Professor Mehret Mandefro recently read Ernest Thompson's Homeboy Came to Orange. She was very moved by the concept of "pure coalition." She has proposed a project called "pure coalition". She writes, "Pure coaltion is about building partnerships that are both transformative, mutually respectful and rooted in equity." What do you think about this project? Please comment on the Pure Coalition page.
Faculty meeting
The UofO held its first faculty meeting several weeks ago. You can read all about in the minutes. Some highlights:
- Great pizza from Sal and Tommy's on Main Street.
- Exciting descriptions of the courses people plan to offer, including Wealth Building, Making Government for the People, and Poetry of the Street.
- A tour of the Wells' Collection, one of the cornerstones of UofO.
